Meet Brooke

Brooke Erickson is an NASM-certified fitness training and nutrition specialist, creator associated with Strong for Her and a lifelong sportsman. The mother of three girls (ages 15, 12 and 10) invested more than a decade battling with anorexia and bad body image, and her weight thrown from as much as 185 pounds in order to as little as 85 pounds.   Within 2008, Erickson beat her condition and discovered her love for that gym and weightlifting. She gained her IFBB pro card within Figure in 2011, and as much because she loved competing, helping other people became her priority. Her greatest goal is to motivate and encourage others to believe that change can be done.

This recipe is versatile in that additional ingredients can be additional or exchanged for additional flavors which are more pleasing to those that are consuming it! ”


2 lbs chicken


8oz reduced fat sour cream

2 tsp garlic natural powder

1 tsp sodium

1 cup freshly grated parmesan


Place chicken into baking pan and equally spread dressing over chicken. Cook at 425 degrees for forty minutes. Optional: serve over egg cell noodles.

“I listen to two completely different types of songs for when I am lifting so when I am mountain biking. When I was lifting, I want to feel more strength and music plays a role in creating that will environment. When I am mountain bicycling, I want to stay focused in my cadence, which usually requires more consistency in my playlist. These are two entirely different types of instruction that require two entirely different types of psychological toughness. ”

“When I am on my mountain bicycle, I want to maintain my pace for any long duration, that usually involves the particular slow grind of gaining height. Consistent music helps me speed my breath. When I am within the gym, I allow my change ego to come to the surface and am listen to music I would never pay attention to in the car or when I are cleaning my house… it’s strictly ‘alter ego’ music. ”
